I will, and I'm hoping for that kind of stories. I'm pretty sure the rig is ready, but as for my driving skills... I hope I'm up to the task!

Also I am told a very good truck wash, especially underneath, will be in order when I'm done. Any spots that need special attention that might not be obvious? I plan to take it to a car wash and put it on my ramps to spray underneath.

Terrible advice, I have run Pismo, one of the largest dunes and every one airs down. I run 18 pounds, with my 265's, when on sand, keep the CDL locked and keep you momentum up and try not to clear more then 3 feet of air or you'll be in for a heel of a landing.

LOL. I know my Disco is not a prerunner, I'll try not to catch too much air.

Made it home safely with no major trail damage. I'll update with pictures and videos this evening. I've never seen full-sized vehicles drive on dunes like that. It was a blast, and I'm exhausted now.

Here are some pictures from the run. I'm thinking of making an actual trip report with more details and possibly a video or two, I'll post the link here if I do.

Oh, for anyone looking to drive on similar terrain, airing down is definitely necessary. Most guys were running between 5 and 10 PSI, I started at 18 and eventually had to go clear down to 12.

What's the point of the flags, so someone don't jump a dune right on top of you?

Yeah I think so. They are required for any vehicle used on these dunes.

PS, here's the trip report if you want to see the video:
