Cool Engine Codes Help

Just purchased a 1996 Discovery everything works fine, but went to scan the vehicle at auto zone and they told me 3 codes PO 0451, PO 0446, PO 1447. I know that is related to evaporative canister but don't know where to start, recently I change oil, coolant, air filter, plugs, spark cables, and clean MAF and TB. Rev are at 800 steady and gas compsumption is normal to me. If someone already deal with those codes let me know what do I have to change. Also ABS comes on and off and braking is low and dangerous any tip. Thanks in advance.

Idle is too high. Deal with ABS and brakes first. You will use the search function and find posts about unplugging ABS system. Don't need to be driving a 4500 pound metal box with no brakes, not good idea even if you have insurance.

Your codes are related to evaporative part of emission system, tighten gas cap first. Attached are pages from ECU manual that tell you how those codes are computed, translated from the original Klingon. Also download the RAVE set of shop manuals on your truck. Make sure line maked purge valve in picture is plugged into throttle body.

Thanks for your help, will try to solve codes issue first since the brakes will take longer and I use DI only on weekends. Will let you know.

Brakes won't be any better on the weekend, and more people for you to have a close encounter with. Big fuse #6 (40 amp) under hood fuse box is ABS pump, could disable for diagnostics.
