Default A few problems...

My husband brought home a 97 Discovery LSE. There are a few problems neither of us can figure out. First of all, the sun roof is stuck open about half an inch. We live in a rainy area, and the tape looks funny, so I'm wondering if there's any way to close that, the switch doesnt work.
The other thing is, the stereo is the factory land rover tape deck and 6 disc changer, it's getting power because the lights are coming on, but when we try to listen to anything it just beeps and the number 2 lights up. We looked it up in our manual, and it says something about security. We tried the security code in the manual, and nothing happened. Does anybody know how to make the stereo work? Thanks

There is a manual screw to close the sunroof, it is hidden behind the trim around the sunroof, it takes a allen head.

Your stereo amp is dead or has a blown fuse.
The amp is under the passenger dash.

not sure if you or your husband feel comfortable working on the radio but if you guys decide to do any work on it or replace anything, I can help.

and the manual screw Spike was talking about is between the switch and the glass there is a small plastic plug thing about 1" by 2" that pops out, the screw is behind that.
