I Can find lots and lots of floor panels for the rear cargo area, but none for the front footwell of the the seat base? Will also need the crossmember under the rear seat?
That's a lot of rust. Maybe try outlets in England. Rimmer Bros or John Craddock, for example. Might have better luck at a scrap yard in a dry climate. Good excuse for a trip to Spain, or Western USA.
Hello,
I have the same problem with rust on drivers side of the car and under the car. Can you please upload some pictures of rapair and by any chance a sketch of rapair metal sheet.
Thank you
if you have rust there, you likely have it at the lower A, B and C pillars and lower sill.
Remove the plastic trim under the doors to inspect.
I read a thread a while back where someone used box steel for the lower sill - it was a little bit bigger but was far cheaper and then they attached sliders to it - worth looking into if it were me.
Plan on removing the front wings (fenders) and cleaning - inspect for dried/cracked seam sealant and re-seam seal at front inner wing to A pillar connection. Also add sealant to the wire grommet that goes thru the A pillar for the door controls - both outside/inside of the outter part of the grommet as well as within the wires that go thru it. (thats what finally stopped the water incursion to the footwells for mine).
