If your dealer is same as one in Portland Oregon, they cannot or will not program used key fobs. They will program only new key fobs that come with bar code. Some non land rover dealers with right equipment can program used fobs, but you must find one who has equipment. The upcoming future version 6 software for Hawkeye will allow it to program used key fobs, according to my inquiry about it recently, from Bearcat Hawkeye, so watch for that on next Hawkeye software upgrade.

 

The Hawkeye will not program Disco II alarms at all as far as I know. It does program the Disco I alarm system to recognize new fobs.

 

I wouldn't know about programming for Disco I, but I do know with certainty that Hawkeye will not presently program used FOBs for Disco, II (it will only program new fobs that have a bar code that comes with the new fobs), BUT I contacted Hawkeye and convinced them that such programing was needed, with Hawkeye, for used fobs, so they told me that on the next software update, they would see to it that the Hawkeye will program used key fobs for Disco II in the future, so that problem should be solved, if they do as they said they would.
