you may be right but the plug wires are new....and after I had replaced them I looked at the maint log and realized the previous owner replaced them 1k ago...so why pay for a tester...I kept the old plug wires after I realized he had replaced them for spare...guess I could swap those two wires and see what she does but I really don't think it is the wires...that would be a good tool to have though. I am getting impatient want to drive her a little and I need to get the echeck done so I can get tags. I only have a couple of weeks left on the thirty day tags.
