Can we adjust these? Mine is a little loose

Some times the piece under the hood loosens up. Did you check for things like that.

It may have stretched or gotten out of it's original routing (like coming out of a clip ).

I lubricated mine a while back and it works smoother now. PB Lube Spray.

That bolt, and lube latch and each end of cable, if Rover Gods notice this has been missed, the cable will snap off and pull out in your hand. Hood will be still lock of course, protecting the engine from theft. In some Philly areas, you must take your engine block inside each night for safekeeping. Those kidz in da hood are world class mechanics.
