I have a 2003 Freelander SE. I have two problems that I would like to get some feedback on....

1. The hood will not lock. Yesterday I went to check my fluids. As I closed the hood, it latches, but will not lock. I checked to see if there were any obstructions....none. I checked the cable from the interior and it seemed to be alright. Any suggestions?

2. I an unable to unlock the driverside and passenger side front doors with the remote. The rear doors unlock as well as the tailgate. When I use the remote to lock the car, all is fine. Any suggestions?
