Discovery I Talk about the Land Rover Discovery Series I within.

I know this sounds stupid, but how do you change a tire?

Tires are not vehicle make specific. Any mid-sized pick up would have no problem fitting a 245/75/16 tire. The D1, RRC, D90 wheels, however, fit nothing else.

I know the capped ones are Evil, But...

If needed, British Pacific does has them for $5.25 ea.
They are aftermarket, but Since I just had to cut one off, I needed a replacement and didn't feel like shelling out for a whole new set.

Their site is rather hard to navigate though. To get lug nuts, I had to go through "front axel" as a parts category. "lug nut" does not return any items as a search.

Wheel Nut for Land Rover Discovery 1 V8 - RRD500010, RRD500560 - 1996

Yeh, Fish. I was just saying they could take them for the tires..wasn't sure how many vehicles they would fit as they seem to be a rare size anytime I am looking for new ones.

Capped ones are surely evil. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Mine are rattling so bad I keep thinking something is falling off the truck.
