Hey LandRover,

I have a 1995 Land Rover discovery with a 5 speed transmission. The car was maintained routinely. Today before I started my car, I accidently armed my alarm prior to to starting the car by pressing the the button on my alarm remote. I started the car anyways and the alarm went off. I turned the car off and deactivated the alarm. I then tried to start the car again but when the car turned on, it would turn off in about one second. I don't know how to get it running, any advice would help a lot. Can anyone please help me out? Is it something really serious? I'm a novice when it comes to mechanics.

 

Try locking and unlocking the door 3 times with the key to reset the alarm system.
