I struck my rear bumper with a Ball Peen Hammer and you could watch the rust flakes fall to the ground. Merely doing a series of strong taps caused quite a bit of material to fall right off.

Steel that has structural integrity will not be affected by merely striking the surface with a ball peen hammer. On the other hand, if it is severely degraded, it will be immediately obvious.

If this was a compliment then I'm sorry for misunderstanding and consequently overreacting. Reading the last jab you threw in on your last post, I don't think you're going to let this go. I hope you do, I have. Cool?

Now let's sing kumbaya.

I'm sorry.

wow...i can't believe i missed all of this.

fish love your rig....interesting jeep mod...it would be much easier for me to find a jeep bumper here. can't believe it fits so well. don't worry mg, offer still stands. any more stickers tho fish and you wont be able to see out the window.

nice that we all have personal touches no matter what they be. live and let live and learn the ways of the internet pile on. we all get a lesson taught in the beginning. i got mine.

oh, and i modded my brush bar into a stinger and like it. not gonna use it to pull or push anything more than an old lady or shopping cart when i do some illegal parking lot rovering.

I listed the bar off my friends truck in the classifieds. He has a problem seeing over it and doesn't want to keep it. He is Korean, no I am NOT kidding. He has a pair of Hella 3000's for sale too.

All is cool with me. The question regarding the stock LR Brush Guard/Bumper/ Plastic Air Dam front end basically gather many people sharing their experience that these are more for looks than true protection. Most of them have either rotted off or as a result of turning minor damage if they were not present into considerably more damage up to and including a total loss of the vehicle by their mere prescence.

That was the important info that was shared by the knowing to benefit the unknowing.

My comments regarding cool were not a personal attack on anyone. They were satirical in nature. Not everyone immediately recognizes satire. I am sorry the point escaped your recognition.

You felt insulted by my comments and some of the others peoples statements as well. But then you reacted with direct attempts to retaliate with some very tasteless comments regarding lipstick and high heels, as well as feminine hygene products.

We should all meet around a big campfire sometime and have a true roast. Sort of like they do on Comedy Central. Until then, swapping satirical comments will have to do, but like Spike said, keep it Family Oriented.

Peace.

Here's Carly doing the song I spoke of:

I especially like the opening line "You walked into the Party like you were walking onto a Yacht, You strategically dipped below one eye"

She is so right on:
