Here's mine, located in Atlanta.

12/96 trumps a 11/96 production date Disco being the newest and last manual 5 spd. Disco. Hell I ran across a brand new 94 Disco that was stored away in a LR dealership finally being sold in 2014, it's still a 94 Disco unless date sold is the model year registered for use on public streets in the eyes of DMV now considered a 2014 vehicle.
So what a Disco having aJaunary to December 96 production manufactured date but entering the U.S.A. in 97 or even 99 or 2005 for the first time, this doesn't make it a last model 97, 99 or 05 end of production model being a leftover later shipped Disco to the U.S.A. It's still a 97 with a 12/96 production date Disco.

As far as interiors my b95 D1 5-spd has tan leather w/matching interior, wood burl trim strips, jump seats and every option as this was owned by a PITA to Stelerships picky doctory demanding over the top servicing. Has two sun roofs, grill guard with running boards. None of that body damaging screw holes into body for taillight guards.
One drawback, it's in black but wasn't picky wanting a 95 vs 94 and 5-spd manual tranny.
Yes the 3.9 has outlived it's production life being no biggie as purchased end of 5/60K lease it had 7/100K warranty allowing two years to get eventhing done including two new sunroof tracks instslled. The dealership Service Tech also a personal friend wrote up repairs which were done during the slow times of the year keeping their mechanics employed along with having only one doing a the warranty repairs and upgrades. He races the 4.6's in his dune buggies, as a personal friend along with Service Tech convinced extended warranty company a 4.6 shortblock was cheaper than locating a 3.9 shortblock. A win win for me overall. Yup she's a keeper not wanting a 1st year 94 production run D1 and by no means wanting to own any year OB2 Disco even if it were a 5 spd. Less crap to go wrong plus it will eat a later 4.6 powered D2.
Engine mods not a problem as well passes smog legally with ease here in Mexifornia.......~~=o&o>......
