Default Max RPMs Drop after warmup

I have a 96 Discovery that Ive been building up to make a dailly driver. I was changing the Heater hoses a few weeks ago and I let the coolant run onto the intake and down the back of the valley pan. I didn't think it was a big deal but now I have this weird problem. My truck starts and idles great but will only rev to 4200 when cold and gradually starts to cut off and wont rev past 1500 when completley up to temperature.

I am lost on what to look for. The truck has had plenty of time to dry out. Plus I have driven it 4 or five times around the house to see if it is over its problem. I have checked and cleaned the plugs for the cam and crank sensor, computer and all accesable plugs under the hood. Computer is dry.

Has anyone fixed this problem before.

Runs great until hot. Wont rev past 1500 when hot. No Check Engine light showing.

Your O2 sensor connections are right ontop of the bellhousing right behind the engine which is just about where all of your coolant dumped.
So my best guess would be corroded or shorted out O2 connectors.
Since the ECU does not use the O2's until the engine is warm that makes the most sense to me.

O2's can change the RPM's or limit them.
Did you get your ECU wet, by chance, if so need to remove it, clean and dry it out.

Ill pull ecu and check the inside of it. It appeared dry but u never know. Ill pull the o2 sensor plugs and check them tomorrow. I need to get a good terminal cleaner first. this antifreeze refuses to evaporate.

Thats because it is antifreeze, its not supposed to evaporate.
Have you tried just rinsing the engine with plain old water from the garden hose?
Not pressure wash, just rinse to rinse away all of the coolant that spilled?
