Make sure you take some pics and a few notes. If they work, you could be the hero of many a person.

Its the multi pack of rollers, three different types, I had to sand down maybe 1/16 to get it to slide freely in the track. Then I bought sone collared screws to slide through it at ace. Just had to grind a bit down on the head of the screw and it worked perfect, just got it back together with the jumpered ecm as well.

I'll grab another pack and do a write up later on what all is necessary. Took about an hour to do both rear windows.

Rovers North does sell the regulators a little cheaper than the dealer. you can get their proline for $70-80.

Yea but for me I cant see spending $80 to replace the regulator when I can spend $3 to just fix the stupid plastic guide thing.

I just had a failed MAF in my disco. It would not stay running at idle most of the time.Didn't have the $500 Cdn for a new one.One from the wrecker fixed that. The cruise vaccume works off of its own pump so that solves nothing for mileage issues. You can check for vaccume leaks using a starting aid spray around your intake components.Carefully of course. My disco gets between 10 to 14 mpg depending on conditions and hwy/ city driving. Good luck.

TWo things, never assume anything was done to it berfore you got it , do it all now.

Also, that rear window Bypass is not a good way to go, it changes your grounds and so forth and has caused inadvertent results for others like the cooling fans coming on when rear windows are rolled down. Pull the circuit board from the ECU and resolder the bad solder joints that cause the original problem and restore the wiring to the original configuration.

I got lucky, called the prev. owners shop (mine still had stickers on it from a Rover specific shop, burnt into the tint actually) and they gave me a full maintenance history back to 2000! So I kind of lucked out. The only things that hadn't been done in awhile was plugs/wires which I did yesterday. Filled up with no ethanol premium and am now hoping this tank last a little longer.

I haven't had any problems with the window jumper, if I do I may redo it.
