Default Oil and Transmission Cooler O-Rings

I've been reading through a bunch of threads to see what other stuff to do along with a radiator swap. One thing I can't pin down is the size of the oil and transmission cooler line O-ring ( o ring oring ). Are these little items truly not available via conventional o-ring procurement methods? Like, the local auto parts store's box of random metric size ones for $5.95? or is our only recourse sourcing these replacement seals for the factory cooler lines paying $2.95 each at... Somewhere? (No offense, Somewhere. I use you for a lot.)

The Orings ( OE#: ESR1594L ) can be had at any NAPA, Hydraulic Line Shop, Good Hardware Store, etc.

Just get BUNA-N Oil Resistant Orings in the following size:

OD: 14 mm
ID: 11 mm
Width: 1.5 mm

The Buna-N rings seem to be rubber. Any advantage over the OEM rings (ESR1594L)
I just got from Somewhere - which look more like flat round washers? or no biggie?

I just looked at some OE o rings in the LR bags and from my Bulk supply....

The cross section shape of the OE ESR1594L is round, and made from a buna-n oil resistant rubber.
The Radiator Adaptor ( ESR1262 ) accepts a round o ring, and that's all I've used with zero issues.

I've seen OLD/USED ESR1594L o rings look like a flat washer but not a new one.

That's all I got, good luck!

I found the specs on this awesome forum and ordered a bag of 100 for $4.99 from Amazon a few months back. At the time they were an add on item and it looks like they've now increased to $9.99. I only used 4 of them for my radiator swap, so if you have the time to wait shoot me a PM with your address and I'll mail you 4 for your project.

Kilby, I just noticed you're in Denver. I live in Erie and work south of Lone Tree which is a 46 mile commute each way.....in the Rover to keep miles off my new car that already has 22k on it in 13 months. There's a pretty good chance I drive near your location at some point. PM me your address and I might just hand deliver these to you, or at least meet near your place.

Kilby, I just read your PM. You're not near my commute. I already dropped the o-rings in the mailbox, so you should have them Saturday or Monday.

Happy wrenching!
