Default Power Steering Leak

Took the Disco project out for its first rip the other day and other than the death wobble, another major item that needs attention is the a pretty bad power steering leak.

I noticed PS fluid splattered all over the bottle jack and around the air intake. it was quite a serious leak and was so bad I'm not really able to see where it originated from.

As the leak splattered, I'm guessing a good place to start would be the hoses, especially the high pressure line from the pump.

Is there any chance the box/pump would leak that bad from one of the seals, or am I on the right track with hoses?

I'm guessing that the death wobble is unrelated to the PS leak and is more likely an issue with suspension bushes/swivels. Would this be a reasonable assumption?

It's a 1995 Disco 1 with ~120k miles.

Cheers
Dave

The big return line going to the bottle, tighten the hose clamps, it may need that hose or lines

Cheers Tom, I've got a n order on standby for hoses at AB but I'll have a poke around later today and see if its just a loose clamp.

Tightened up the hose clamp and no more leaks.

That was easy!

Thanks again.
