I bought about 4-5 feet of new vacuum line. I cut the rigid plastic line off the existing push connectors and pushed on the new flexible vacuum line. The new Hyundai valve mounts(kinda half-a**ed with a cable tie) where the old one did.
I bought mine on Amazon.com and there were a bunch of reviews on there from guys with D2's using the same unit, LOL.

I didn't put it in my sig line for nothing, LOL! I have no idea how people keep their engines clean. I can't even imagine how many hours it would take to clean mine, so I just don't clean it. I like to think of the mud/dirt as a "protective barrier".

it can also insulate the engine and trans to keep heat from dissipating

What did you do with the hose than runs from the bottom of the original purge valve? I have a 98 D1 too and bought the Dorman 911-800
