I swapped the ECM and it fired right up. I did have a code P1621 (Communications with the security ECM has not happened within the expected time). I'm not worried about that at this time.

The other computer did the exact same thing with the valve as the other did. I'm beginning to think it is normal for this to happen. But it goes against what the rave is stateing.

 

If it drives ok and you don't have any more codes pop then I can only guess. I wish I had mine still around..... it was a pre-AEL 97, no difference. Maybe another member can verify that the valve does pulse while idling.

Good job though, really put some serious effort into this. Commendable. It's now up there for others to look it up in the future too.
