Radiator Connections Question
Hi Folks,
Currently replacing the head gaskets on my Disco. Trying to do things right including having the radiator serviced by a retired radiator guy who still does work on the side to get away from the Mrs. He asked me about what type, if any, of sealant, the brass tranny and oil cooler adapters (which attach directly to the radiator) use to ensure a seal. He mentioned teflon tape is what he removed. Hoping for some guidance. I've seen alot posts on O-rings. See attached. Hope all is well with everyone.

There are o-rings that go on the fittings, no tape needed if you use the correct and new o-rings.
AB sells them, Oil Cooler Pipe "O" Ring (Part # ESR1594L) - Land Rover gaskets and seals from Atlantic British you need four.
