There's a fuse on the Amp, check it...20 or 30A (green). The stock radio is also indirectly wired into the Alarm so you may have tapped into that (keyless entry). Unhook the CB hot side and see if you get sound back.

I'm not too proud of the ole Vols right now, they plain-out suck. Our third string quarterback is playing with more ***** than both our starters combined, and he sucks pretty badly.

That, my friend, may be the answer to all my worries. I'll give it a shot tomorrow

Okay, so indeed, that was the problem. Originally, I had the fuse out, of which didn't allow my radio to turn on. The reason I had the fuse out, I had my CB power plugged into my Central Door Locking terminal since my remoteless entry doesn't work anyways. But now, where to plug in my CB power? I like the ability to retain power without the ignition. But it seems I can't place the plug in the same fuse slot as the Door Locking. What to do?

You could wire direct to the battery (with an inline fuse). The fuse block in the engine bay is another hot spot directly off the battery. If I was going to go there I'd use the ABS fuse hot side. Use your Rave's ETM to find a hot that bypasses the ignition......one's not coming to the top of my head right now.

can you hook it into a dome light?

thats where mines at, and you get CB power without the key...
a lot less wiring than running to the battery.

...depends on how many amps the CB draws.

Yeah, I know all about the wiring.....I'm trying to remove a few pounds of it myself. It's disgusting how much there is......

Good luck, keep us posted.

Don't use the dome light, it is dimmed by module (MFU) on the ground side. It will sorta work, but if you screw up MFU that runs several things. We are talking about ten feet of wire. Shouldn't be much of a challenge.

youre right... but....

if you have a 6 watt radio pulling full power - which only occurs when youre broadcasting - you would be pulling less than .5 (1/2 of an amp!) at 12 volts.

this is why most CBs come with fuses that are in the 1-2 amp range. because they draw almost nothing.

i havent run into any issues with the dimming - and ive had the radio and dome light on all together, and left it on while the dome light has dimmed.

anyway, your mileage may vary, but ive had no issues with this.
