Default rear wiper 'chatter'

My rear wiper drives me nuts. Works smoothly in one direction (toward the passenger side) and 'chatters' all the way back to the 'home' position. Blade is new.

I've tried bending the arm in various directions to no avail.

Any suggestions?

I have just bought new blades all around for my D1. They are the single piece curved style. Less than $15 total shipped from RockAuto. The rear blade is great! Its the first time in the 3 years I've owned the truck that rear blade actually clears the window as it should. Fronts are good, too.
Here's what I bought.

Yes, prior to reaching nutso condition invest in a new arm with OEM bend.

Try waxing the glass. I forgot wipers even made noise .

Hopefully that will reduce the chatter.

huh, I'll try that. I've tried like every different brand wiper and it still chatters.

hmm... Fish, it seems they recommend 14" blades. I've been using 15"ers (which are small enough to fit on the glass only, they don't touch the rubber which surrounds the glass). I wonder if that makes the difference?

I'll give it a go and report back.

14" blade from RA as posted by FishEH (vs 15" Bosche) seems to have done the trick!

Thanks!
