Default Recommendation Quarter Glass Window Seal Replacement

Hi everyone,

I have an oddly easily fixed problem that is proving to be oddly difficult to resolve. I bought window seals for both quarter windows and for my rear fifth door glass and am needing someone to install them, but have come up short after trying to businesses in the Denver area. Does anyone know of a company that will swap out these seals?

I would prefer not to do the work myself as it would be my first time and I don’t want to screw it up.

Thanks

Where is your sense of adventure! C'mon man. Some dish soap and another set of hands is all you'll need.

This is tempting... Got any YouTube videos you think do a good job of showing the procedure?

generic sealed window replacement

This guy did it all by himself

using some dish soap on the inside of the rubber will allow it to slip over the metal frame of the window very easily.

Ended up doing it on my own, honestly wasn’t bad. I didn’t know you didn’t even need any glue for it.

For anyone thinking of doing it, I highly recommend soapy water and thick cord or even electrical cord as a guide for the seal when installing.

Outstanding!!! Hopefully you celebrated accordingly and sacrificed (via imbibing) some beer to the Rover gods.

Congrats. Pics of the finished job? Did everything line up, fit flush?

Curious as to how long it took you?
Any swearing in the process?
This will serve as a baseline to me doing it. If I had a garage I would have done already but with Winter upon us this could be a Spring / Summer project.

Thanks
