Default Scanner/programming tool

Does anybody know of an affordable scanning/programming tool for D1s? I have an issue with the PROMs in my ECU and I would like to be able to program the remotes.

Thanks in advance.

The scan tools for the level of programming you require are usually on the professional level so read expensive!

You might want to look at Atlantic British's clearance offer on the TEK scanner at about $900. I think it will do what you want.

Interested?

Suggest you call them and find out.
They have a tech guy called JIM who will probably help you decide if its for you & budget.

Thanks for the info "old nuts"(I have been dying to say that ever since I first saw your name!).

I will call them. I checked out a kit from autologic, 11k plus! I almost had a heart attack.

This PROM issue is a thorn in my side.

Old Nuts it is!
Yes I have an Autologic for LR's and MB's-----Its a spendy tool but almost essential for doing work on these two platforms without having to buy the genuine factory tool and be bothered by the dealer chains which have become so remote for after sales support in NA.

If you can talk to Brad on ext 242 at Atlantic British he may be able to answer some of your most pressing concerns about the TEK capability.

I bought one (TEK) as an emergency back up tool, but haven't tried its full capabilities as yet. Certainly worth checking it out though, even does the diesels like TD5!

Ask about the Hawkeye unit. It may be able to perform this function on a DI. I've been impressed with its capabilities on the DII. AB sells it as well.

I called AB today and, I can't recall the sales guys name, they said that none of the units they sell can re program the PROM, it has to be the dealer or and Autologic unit.

Thanks for the help guys.

Car enthusiasts on the Land Rover Forums often share recommendations for scanner and programming tools that help maintain and troubleshoot their vehicles. Popular options like the FOXWELL NT530 and iCarsoft LR V1.0 offer comprehensive diagnostics and programming features for Land Rover models. In a similar way, wellness technology supports personal health management. Platforms like https://wellness-app.com/ provide an intermittent fasting app that helps users track their fasting schedules, monitor progress, and stay motivated. Just as scanner tools give control over a vehicle’s health, fasting apps empower users to manage their wellness goals effectively.
