Seafoamed it now it won't idle
For the tech minded, see D2 V8 MAF sensor issue? - Page 2 - Australian Land Rover Owners; has computer display of parameters impacted by just a little MAF "dirt", you'll see that a whole lot of things are happening very fast with the MAF.
SLANG, those are Trumpets as part of air intake, even though they are cylindrical.
When mechanics refer to cylinders, they mean the bored out portion of the engine block where he pistons go up and down just to simplify the language and keep us all on same wavelength.
Seafoam in oil should be fine and run it for days if you feel like it. Some of the other Flushes call for just idling for several minutes with no driving. But like was pointed ouit, we should not really need them and the stronger ones can create other problems none of us need!
Hang in there. You are making me feel a little more conscious of how mine looks.

I appreciate the country more than most and get farther and farther away from the city a I get older. Soon I'll be living in the mountains.

Oh yeah, I spent the morning boring out my trumpets. Truck is twice as fast.
Hey now, you already live in a tropical paradise, I do not consider that a moron, just never stuck your head inside a motor before. I have, but not that much and thankfully never into the really detailed aspects of it.
I was just hoping to help keep you from getting too confused! And I ran out of Rum and am low on Coffee as well. So forgive me.
You won't believe how I spent my day. I had washed the beast recently but it was a little dirty again so I spray bottled the whole damn thing with some Blue Magic Concentrate mixed about 1 to 4 with hot water, they say two caps in a gallon bucket. That cut all the grime and dead paint and road grime and stuff off. I did the whole body, inside and out.
My interior is down to just the front seats and my Cutty Sark Whiskey Case Wooden Console and the 50 Cal. Ammo Box mounted in the rear driver's corner to hold the original bottle jack.
So I sprayed and cleaned it all so I could focus on what little corrosion I need to fix. I also added a 12 oz bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil to a nearly empty Gas Tank, drove a couple blocks and put in 5 gallons which is still pretty strong ratio. Drove to AA and reset the CEL. P0304, P1314, P1316 twice.
I cleared them, made sure no 4 wire was on good, and had the Actron reading live data while I revved the throttle from underneath. I had noticed the STFTRM 1 and 2 were basically staying at -25.0 and never changing. I held one hand over the air intake trumpet and revved the throttle. When I got up to about 3000 rpm's on the Actron, both of those values started to change like I would have expected them to all along. Even though I do not know what they actually measure or what it means.
At idle, they would go back pretty much to the -25.0 or close to it. Revving it did get big fluctuations. Do not know what value it should be though. Anyone familar with this parameter?
Hey Thanks
What does this mean PCM?
Half way along the screen you can see where the resistor is disconnected and the reported MAF voltage shoots up a whole 0.18Volts. Immediatly you can see the Oxygen sensor climb to in excess of 0.8Volts. The Oxygen sensor is no longer switching. The PCM has now lost fuel control.
If measuring the Oxygen sensor output it is probably safer to use an analogue multimeter or a scope. I've been told digital meters can damage Oxygen sensors. Did not know that!
Very good work Savannah.
What is STFTRM AND WHAT DOES IT COME FROM?

you know I'm playing Danny. guess you want a care package. all that MAF talk is waaaaay over my head. but i can add to my list, clean MAF = good.
Can you say Barrilitto? No doubt, top of its class. Family biz. Guy will not sell to Bacardi or DonQ companies.
