Hey fish, if I jack the front end up does it shift the axle? I'd like to do it on the ground so nothing shifts about.

Please excuse the zip tie holding it in place. I've gone over a full tank of gas and no CEL...it's been running great.
I see you dont have AEL.

I have AEL.

Does anyone think that matters?

That's beyond my knowledge on this subject. Maybe compare the connector from what you have to the Amazon image? Or I can take a picture of it close up for you.

The reviews on Amazon show quite a few D2 owners using the same part so perhaps it would work for AEL trucks? I'm hoping.

I should have mentioned I would only heat the nut up, melting the nylon, if you have a new nut to go on there. Though you might be able to get by with some threadlocker.
I've never jacked up my truck to do anything with the radius or trailing arms. My truck is lifted though so I can slide under it on a creeper with no problem. I would chock the front wheels and leave them on the ground. I think you'll need to pull the track rod to drop the radius arms out, IIRC.

For $30 its worth a shot.

Another member said he fixed his CEL by spraying out the purge valve with brake cleaner and reinstalling.

If/when I can figure out what I did to kill my electrical system, Ill try these out and report back.

It's been a productive day. Replaced my thermostat, sitting pretty at 196F instead of the 158 it had been. Old thermostat was most definitely stuck. Wonder what, if any, difference it'll make on fuel-efficiency...I've been averaging 220 miles/tank

Fixed my rear step with magnets: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...science-57183/

And installed my Hi-Lift on the rear bumper. I'm in the sand and don't need a lot of clearance; and it's as good a place as any until I get a rack or new bumper.

Here it is from the side; door clears easily when opening.

I plan on leaving it off the truck unless I'm heading out to play (and will probably lock it when I am).
