Speaking of which, haven't you been talking about a rack for a while now? When are you gunna step it up?

My new tires came today! Ive been using Treadwrights since I've had the Rover but I found these from Tire Recappers of Nashville on ebay. Great customer service, super fast shipping and super cheap with a lifetime warranty on the tread down to 3/32". Plus the KM2 is a way meaner tire than Treadwrights M/Ts.

Check their other items for different sizes. They have a BFG AT and Goodyear MTR copy as well.

I know, I know. I was getting ready to order one from Baja Rack but had to reallocate funds to the other ride once I realized I was down to 3/32's. Really disappointed by the Michelin RFT's...only got 25k miles out of them, and didn't even track it.

Refreshed radius arm bushings. Bought the Harbor Freight 12ton shop press for $110 after my 20% coupon, and it worked great. Next is the A frame ball joint, wasn't there a member selling them already fitted for $100 plus a core?

I'm rebuilding my diffs and let me tell you having a press is the cat's ***. I just use the 20 ton press at work but man it makes short work of pressing stuff in and out. So much better than struggling with pullers and vises and whatnot.

I almost got the 20 ton. I cheaped out at the last minute, no regrets really the 12 worked great and paid for itself. I should note that a shallow 6pt 24mm socket for the radius arm bolts/nuts would be much easier then a deep socket that I had to use as the space is somewhat tight. I also had to rotate the sway bar downward by un bolting the 4 14 mm sway bar bolts. I could then loosen and slide out the radius arm bolts.

Picked up radiator few days ago 60$ to pressure test, clean, paint, and seal leaks! Great deal from highly recommended shop.

All new parts here with exception of tactical rover front bumper which will be here Monday. With snow fall in the area till then and weekend night shifts car work will have to wait for Monday.

Tread wright Tires came in today 245/75/16 guard dog mt e

New parts include winch, winch bumper, oil coolant lines x2, relocation cones rear, and new tires! Going to do a write up on bumper and winch install. And a reliability and performance test on a lesser used winch in this forum the tuff stuff 12.5 extreme waterproof winch.

Changed the rear brake pads and pulled the abs fuses. While I was pulling the bezel to get the ABS bulb out I discovered that a previous owner used wood screws to hold the bezel in Going to try to epoxy the giant crack through the bottom of it tomorrow before I put it back in. Also need to give Bill a call at RTE and get some SS brake lines. Last time the truck was on a lift the brake lines acted as limit straps and now one is leaking
