So what did you do to your Disco today?
On another note. I threw my spare rear drive shaft in rebuilt with neapco joints. All 4 bolts on the brake drum were half *** tight/borderline loose. Replaced all the nuts with new nyloc ones. Hopefully will eliminate the slight vibration I had.
Put the rear shocks and springs on Saturday, front today.
Front 32 3/4in(ds), 32in(ps) before, after 34 1/2in all around.
Rear 31 1/2in(ds), 31 3/4in(ps), measurement taken from ground to bottom of wheel well fender.
Springs and shocks for a factory lift+2in.
This work was not that bad, the heat made it kind of tough.

After, you can see the before in my avatar.

One thing, my front drive shaft is close to my front sway bar, if I used some spacers will that effect the bar?

remove the bar, I will probly also be removing my rear one like is usualy suggested, I hear a clunk in the back when I go over bumps sounds like shocks topping out but I was told today it may be the sway bar
Won't that make it easy for the truck to roll over on turns?
Nope. As long as you don't drive your car like a ricer you'll be golden. More of us have them off than have them on
Range Rovers from about 1990 and before didn't have anti-sway bars, and they have almost the exact same chassis and suspension as a discovery.
Well I don't have the dislocation cones, don't want my springs popping out. I may just add a spacer.
Halogen Bulbs just pop right in there. I converted my V/8 to 300TDi a while back. And, at the same time, stuck those bulbs in there. I paid for the best ones ( forget the price ) but haven't burned one out yet - at least two years. Nothing to it. Looks great. ( Don't touch the bulb with your fingers. It leaves grease on there and they burn out. Somebody said.)
This weekend I replaced a sticking rear brake caliper and bled the entire brake system, old murky fluid is no more!
Also tried to start on the rear A-arm removal/rebuild but for the life of me couldn't get the ball joint nut off (the big one to the axle) even heated it up with my torch... Looks like next time I work on it I'll be using my angle grinder with a cutoff wheel.
