The flares are pretty jacked up. Sliders need a little work where they were cut but seem solid...just not the prettiest. Rear bumper isn't pretty but I may try to tune it up for my rig. The best part about the hood scoop is that its functional...HAHAHA. Someone actually cut a hole in the hood for it. Hit me up if there is anything your interested in. I listed the first round in the classified section. Next up is upper and lower rear and front lower Rovertym shock mounts, Rovertyme rear cones, Rovertym 3" springs, MSD 8mm plug wires and whatever else I can round up.

by jacked up i mean the fronts are FUBARed. I may try to run the rears on my 98 but we shall see. They are riveted on like a champ. No tree branch will be taking them off the truck

 

The lowering was a huge success.
My Disco is back
No more vibrations and rambling on acceleration or slowing down.
Smooth drive on the high way @ 140 km/hr, powerfull and responding well in low and high range with or without CDL engaged.
This was a very expensive school fee to pay.

 

Looks good! Having that much lift really does cause load of problems, from drivetrain to higher COG. What size tires are you putting on it?

Tires????? I've got to little skin left on the knees and the bank managers desk is in the far corner of a huge office, Soooo..... I Need to stick with the 30's (145/70/R16) for a while

I took 4 kids up camping near Guanella Pass (around 12k feet). Partly to test out the recent water pump & radiator repair...worked out great. Temps only hit 192 while climbing the pass - then stayed near 185 the rest of the way.

I'm considering removing my lift as well, but keeping the extended shocks.

Stock pro's:
Perfect geometry
Longer bushing life
Better articulation
Softer ride
Lower center of gravity
Less overall height to clear obstacles

Lift pro's:
Better approach, departure, and break over angles

With F/R bumpers and sliders, my angles are already very good, so that's not even needed. To fit larger tires I'll just cut the fenders, a much better approach.

 

i do have picture somewhere. These came off a 2000 DII. I think they changed there headlights in 2003 or 2004 don't quote me on that though.

the headlights are the same so no modifactions are needed. Pull them off a busted DII and put them on yours. Same everything. Looks way better with the black trim.
