Finally got the truck inspected in New York. Just needed all new brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, catalytic converters & oxygen sensors.

Now I can get on to the interesting stuff...

Started my head gasket job today. Only had about 3 1/2 hours into it before the rain came. End of the world type rain. managed to get the left head off. Hella carbon under the valve covers but the cylinders and pistons look great. Hopefully I'll have time after work tomorrow to remove the other head and start the degreasing process.

New passenger mirror, UltraGauge installed, new to me console and started cleaning my new calipers for rebuilding.

I don't mean to be a douche but your shocks I "believe " are mounted incorrectly.
The washers should be turned the other way around to allow the bushing to turn.

In all reality there prob isn't much need for the stock washers. I run RTE mounts and have used washers on the last 2 pair of shocks I've run.

I'm talking about the cup shape of the washers, the cup should be facing out; not in.
