I bought my parts truck for $400 and was able to drive it onto the trailer. I bought my daily driver D1 for $700. So by comparison $625 for a totaled truck seems high.

 

Damn! Thats a good deal..I'd buy those all day long. Rovers arent so plentiful here maybe.

 

I bought my 98 for 400. Fuel pump and fluid change and its been going strong since

Much to my neighbors delight I was up at 6am power washing my underside before work. Axle ,steering/ brake parts and swivel ***** all clean and ready to rebuild. Tie rods and reseal front end next. Prob do new bearings while I have it apart.

 

Wow. Thats super clean!

also, what on earth could I be up to..

 

New spark plugs and Magnecor 8mm wires. Took apart the distributor to clean. Found bad vacuum advance. New MSD Blaster 2 coil. Started my front cover tear down. Removed water pump, rad hoses, had to sawzall the fan clutch off.

Got my front cover and bottom end gasket kit in. New fan clutch and vacuum unit on order.
