Body is 5051 Al, same as boats, no corrosion, no sealer needed.

Roof will be painted silver with satin clear coat to match.

I'll do a write up once it's done.

Nice snorkel. Is it the Southdown?
Yes it is a Southdown. Hopefully get it installed this week if time allows. I'm in the middle of pulling the head off the Prelude. Now the Disco is consuming water. No steam in exhuast, doesn't appear to be leaking...checking the oil after work tonight. Hopefully I don't have back to back HG jobs to do! 55-60 hr work weeks don't allow a lot of wrench time.

Finally reinstalled my rear diff which blew up around the fourth. Been driving fwd for the last couple of months. Worth the wait through as I ended up getting a truetrac to replace the stock diff. Just in time for an upcoming trip this weekend..

Drove 400 miles to Boone, NC to camp over the weekend. Was still dark when I left and blew the dash lights fuse.

One the way back yesterday, the exhaust system fell apart - the cat conv fell off in the middle, so I pulled over and tied it back up with para-cord to make it home. SOunded like a muscle car, but doesnt perform like one!

Had too much fun, had to drain and rinse the inside on my headlight, turn signal, and Hella.

Went back to old stock bumper for these next few weeks. Just pulled the trigger on a Safari Gard though..

Finally installed some relocation cones, too.

It's actually not that bad, hell of some approach angle haha
