Scope, door panels look great. Did you use gloss or flat black duplicolor for your topcoat ? I assumed flat based on the fact you used flat plastidip but it looks shiny but that could just be the flash/pic. Also do you think it would have come out as good if you only used the duplicolor ?

I started with plasti dip because I have seen it hold up on rims and if it didn't
I could just peel it off.It looked great and had the perfect texture but had a sticky rubber feel.Did a little searching and read that it is difficult to keep clean.
After a coat of duplicolor(matte) it gave it a less tacky feel. The jury is still out how well it will hold up.

Threw some POR15 on my old trailing arms and on my newly drilled RTE upper mounts. Then finished with Rust-O-Leum Professional in black.

Changed out fluid in diffs, ran Valvoline 85-140. Drained and refilled transmission fluid with Valvoline Max Life ATF. Chassis greased rubber, zip tied fuel filter to body, zip tied loose brake lines. Checked oil level. Tightened rings under power steering booster. Took it for a drive to circulate the new ATF fluid. Experienced she hesitation by the Tidal Basin. Need a new VSS. Anyone out there have a rebuilt one they're willing to part with. DiscoMike calling you with codes here shortly.

finally (hopefully) got my fuel problem figured out. More testing tomorrow. Next comes other electrical issues, like flickering lights, and back seat windows that don't work, sunroof not opening, and sagging headliner...Lucky for me I picked up this truck cheaply!! love driving it!!

found a nice rust free rear bumper for my disco, installed it and lined everything up. plenty of fully intact rovers in junk yards out here, making mine almost new again.

Saturday update: Smoked 74 lbs of boston butts and 6 racks of ribs Came out as good as any BBQ you will ever come across! Also tested out the new slotted axle end radius arm bushings while sitting around the cooker drinking beer. Best $80 you can spend to get extra front end travel!

Waiting on the tool to set swivel preload. Decided to move to another issue. CDL solenoid confirmed poop. Added to the list.
