Default V-TDi Turbo

Had the VTDi kit installed and what a huge , incredible difference.
The usually sluggish Disco 300 Tdi came to live!!!
On the High way the truck handled like a Sedan and rowing on the gear lever is something of the past.
Could do a constant 120 Kmh in 5th gear and the EGT never rose above 540.
Passing slower traffic is a feast and you just put your foot down and get immediate response from the vehicle.
Average fuel consumption 12.4 km/l

Ordered everything for a Saginaw p series power steering pump conversation. Tomorrow I'm replacing all my dif bearings, Thursday I'm setting up the 3rd and putting it back in the truck and Friday I'm redoing my trailing arms, making new steering rods, andinstalling an a arm Spacer. Lots to do! Plenty of pics to come.

More progress, yea! I removed the stock front bumper and plastic skirt, installed the Tactical Rovers Front Winch Bumper, The Hella 500s and a WARN VR10,000-S Winch with synthetic line. I drilled and tapped the EGR blanking plate and installed my EGT probe, wired things up for the pyro, boost, and oil pressure gauges - messed something up there because my gauge cluster has no power Have to figure that one out. I installed the new Optima Yellow Top and started the wiring for the dual battery setup. Built the wiring loom and got the switch setup for my in cab winch control, and installed and setup my HomeLink

I ordered all the parts I am missing for the air conditioning set up, and they should arrive Friday

Pictures to follow........

Removed fuel tank to clean out, weld the hole I accidentally drilled in it, and fit a new skid plate.

Ahead of schedule! Pressed off and on my new dif bearings and set the third back up. Just need to double check the backlash with a dial indicator at work tonight. Third, axles and drive shaft will go in tomorrow just in time for lots of cutting, grinding and welding Friday.
