Yeah much progress on metal rover. Passenger side almost done. Just need to strip and paint roof silver with satin clear coat to match. Pics soon.
Yep, perfect combination of size, capacity, and pressure. I got the display model with no manual so they took 25% off.

Looking forward to pics!

I should have a set of the smaller wedges installed pretty soon. Hoping it takes the S shape out of my springs, or at least helps. They look goofy since I pushed the rear axle back approx 2"!

Here's the wedges with built in 1" spacers. Shows how it makes the spring perch level when the axle is not. Please excuse my leg, LOL.

I think you might want to consider a DC rear shaft with that pinion angle Brett!

Looks good. Did you make slanted washers for the bolts too?

Default Air filter Mod

With all the mud and rain we had the last 3 months the original filter became "soggy"
I have decided to install an element filter.
Removed window washer reservoir to front and extended tubes and wiring.
This intake position is temporal because my snorkel is already dispatched from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Only problem I see is when the filer needs to be cleaned or replaced I will have to lift the complete outer body to get to the element.

Meh. It doesn't vibe. I'll get the wheels back on it and see where I'm at. Maybe adjust the trailing arms to get the pinion down a bit. We'll see.

LOL, no. I actually just removed my cones and installed some retainers. The bolts are ok, they don't mind.

Today I replaced my valve cover gaskets and got rid of a leak. Then I flushed my brakes out. Pretty sure it was the first time that it had ever been done. Tomorrow I am going to replace the gaskets on my exhaust and scrub the underside and spray it with inhibitor.

Installed my new spring wedges thanks to Brett. They straightened out my springs a good bit. Also put the rebuild rear third back in and installed my new custom steering rods. Drag link is 1.5x.25 DOM and track bar is 1.25x.120 DOM. Went with a smaller track bar to fit better with a future 3 link.
