Sure. The frame side bushings are pretty good but you'll need axle end bushings. $15 + shipping.

Couldnt sit still, so i decided to throw the 88C stat that I had into the truck. What a f#%king disaster. Stat went in fine, however it uncovered additional isses, that i keep telling myself would have bit me in the *** sooner or later. Old stat was stuck wide open, now it runs hot all of the time. Both top hoses started to leak under the pressure and coolant could be heard boiling up top. Turned her off and got my man Pauly G on speedtext. After some poking and prodding it looks to be 2 issues , bad water pump and defiantely need to get my radiator cleaned out. Ive added all new coolant hoses to the menu for saturday morning as well as the above. Christ , after 350K on my Infiniti and Toyota and only changing oil and filters on those , this things a bitch. But it wouldnt be half the fun, would it ?

All this for a lousy brush guard . Thanks Ed !! J/K

I am header out to replace the hood. Has a red one now, called around to get it painted.. and found it was cheaper to just buy a new one. Anyone need a red 98 Disco hood?

I'd take any color hood over my current wind-damaged one (which blew open at highway speeds...) but I'm nowhere near Louisiana. Can't even find a Disco in a junkyard within 100 miles.

Today, I ordered a gear reduction starter from britishstarters.com.

Just poked around under the hood trying to familiarize myself with everything under there. Having gone through some of the service manual already, it was surprisingly easy to follow.

In addition to the service manual read through our tech area sticky items. You'll find something that needs attention.

Droppped my front driveshaft in anticipation of my Tom Woods Double Cardon that will be here Monday. Also ordered transfercase output bearings and seals.

Replaced all top radiator hoses and new clamps. Noticed the water temp switch wires had corroded out of the plug and werent attached. Boogered those back together , fired it up , let it run for an hour and she stuck at 8:30 ! Noticed the front fans went on. I dont think Ive ever heard them before. Evidently the water temp switch triggers the A/C fans to run in hot conditions ? Im gonna solder those up later . Dodged the water pump bullet , i think but still getting radiator bathed and bored.
