yesterday after work i trimmed a little more off of the top of my light bar mount to aim the lightbar a little higher, and spliced in new headlight connectors. now my low beams AND high beams work every time i turn them on. no more wiggling connectors for me.

Recently installed a 180* t-stat. Then yesterday I replaced the original expansion tank with a white one. Also replaced the failing fan clutch with the often used part# 215517 purchased at Advance Auto. Noticeable drop in temp reading from the from the scangauge. Finished up by installing a set of Lucky8 1" spring spacers up front to compensate for the added weight of the bumper and Warn XD9000i.

180 all day long. I use a 67 Chevy C10 stant superstat with an 1/8" bleed hole drilled in it. Works like a champ, available anywhere and cheap

apparently the waxstat is 192 fully open, and the stant 45358 starts opening at 180.. which is why a 190F stant is the wrong one for a disco, it isnt fully open until close to 200F.

yes, i was researching thermostats. today is a slow day at work.
