I made it along with Brad from Rockstar Fab. It's based on the Safari Gard design. It may be for sale soon. Let me know if you'd be interested.

Picked up a new standard duty fan clutch and 180* thermostat. Gonna yank the radiator and get it rodded out. Any recommendations or tips for removal?

Got around trimming out the fenders and quarters today. I switched from an air powered cutter to an electric half way through, which cut the time in half. I plan to head out to the park next week to try it out.

BTW....The dried out mud and sand in the brakes....not fun. Next time I go out and play, I will go to the local car wash right after. Need to invest in a pressure washer thou, since my neighbors washer broke....

Siphon out the coolant before removing the lower rad hose to keep the mess to a minimum. Also plan on replacing all of the O-rings for the trans and engine oil cooler lines (if equipped).

Today (yesterday) I got three packages in the mail for my Disco. One had two 4-3/4 ton working load shackles for my recovery points, one had a new gear-reduction starter, and one had a new alpine window gasket. Looks like it will be a busy week!

Pulled the radiator and took it to be rodded out. Radiator shop said it had approx 50% blockage. Should have it back tomorrow. Going back together with a new 180* thermostat and new fan clutch and a bottle of water wetter. I'm really hoping to see my temps fall from the 195-205 range down closer to 180. Then back to the fun stuff!
