So what did you do to your Disco today?
Raising my rear tire carrier. Didn't like the idea of running a 265/75 and the tire rubbing on the paint, so I cut some aluminum flat bar to give it a couple mm (disco 2 has these flat bar spacers). Also drilled the holes down 11mm on the carrier to give the tire some breathing room from the bumper. Didn't need much space as the tire fit but really close. Will finish it later today

changed spark plugs. cleaned out washer fluid reservoir, removed passengers seat and cleaned up rust underneath carpet, treated with rust converter and painted. Also took passenger side door apart to remove door latch to try and fix it. what a lot of work that is!

I hear ya, -7 here this morning. Even after the engine had warmed up Yoy can tell the gear oil is thick cause she moves real slow.
Took it to the dealer to get the CEL diagnosed and reset. The code they pulled had something to do with a faulty heat circuit on one of the O2 sensors. At this point, they had the CEL reset at no cost to me. If I wanted them to chase it further, and determine which one of the four O2 sensors had the faulty heat circuit, that was going to cost $170, and I was going to have to leave it with them for a few hours.
Well, I figured getting the code read and getting the CEL reset at no cost was a good start. I told the service guy if the CEL comes on again, I'll call him and schedule an appt for them to do a more in-depth diagnosis, and hopefully it won't be difficult or expensive to fix.
So I left the dealer, drove to work, topped off the gas tank, and no CEL. Then, 45 miles later, it's on again...ugh...
