Installed new front bumper and plinth. Next are end caps as soon as i trim them even with the bumper. I'm probably the only person here who has installed an original factory bumper.

Finally got around to upgrading the D1 Cruise Control ECU to a P38/D2 unit. Instead of doing like everyone else and tearing apart the old ECU I just cut the harness right at the old plug, and cleanly spliced on the new pigtail. I had plenty of room to do it and it maybe took 30min from start to finish (15min was spent online finding the proper wiring colors). Took it for a spin and I now have a very nice working cruise control system.

New fan clutch. Went with the Torqflo 922626 from Autozone. Way too loud/aggressive. Engages much to early. Seemed to be fully engaged at 180 degrees which is far too low. Highway temps went from 194 to 183. Oddly, it didn't hurt mileage at all. Got 16 mpg highway.

I'm gonna pony up and buy the original. Probably will order a fan too since I reamed out the bolt holes and want to make sure the new installation is 'true' and doesn't put undue stress on the water pump.

Although 194 on the highway (with A/C) is not a problem, I didn't like the way temps climbed at idle reaching 215 before I lost the nerve to test how high it would go. Idling with the Torqflo clutch temps topped out at 212.

I'm still trying to figure out how I can keep this truck cool at idle with A/C on during hot days. Next up is a rad flush, but that may have to wait a couple of weeks.

Just installed my Manta Awning - great quality, very easy to install (once I found rack mounts).

Rad flush does little for whole system. Consider a flush per manual drain which includes removing block plugs. Have advocated in several posts getting down/dirty to do right. No pain not gain.

With all your vast knowledge, surprised you don't know what a block drain plug is or purpose. Manual = Workshop Manual which you seem to think should be disregarded per similar replies.
