Got to the rear brakes. New rotors, pads, bearings, seals, and hardware. That should keep it off the "to do" list for quite a while.
most time consuming part... The run the the hardware store to replace one of the studs in the ABS ring. That set up is kinda stupid. The studs were unscrewing from the ABS ring before the nylocks let go of the stud. Then had to figure out how to remove the nylocks from the stud without damaging the studs. What a waste of time!

Hadn’t used my disco for a yr, just sat in driveway. Battery was out, one headlamp was out and my damn rear brake light fell off.
Got a new battery, replaced for free from sams, the pos terminal broke, changed that, changed both headlamps. New wipers.
Whats the best way to secure the rear brake light?
removed the ac control unit, plastic around radio and control unit is ****. The fan switch wasn’t making contact, I took it apart, cleaned it and still nothing, I used a heavy binder clip and it worked, now the switch just hangs outside the unit. Whatever, my ac works.

Worked on window regulator.
Ace Hardware has nylon bushings that will replace the bushings that come with the discovery. Here is a pic of one.
That's a 1 inch with a 3/8 hole.
I used a 5/16 T nut, outside diameter 3/8 fits right inside the bushing. I drilled a hole in the end of the T nut, drilled a 3/8 hole in the regulator arm put the T nut through the regulator arm, put a washer then a cotter pin.
