You can replace the dovetail with a D2 one.

Got my Rover thread tube adapters from Summit Machine today.

Also hit the junkyard and scored pretty well.
Got the cargo door and both far rear window seals. RRC clock. Couple light pigtails. 4.2 ECU. 3.9 Potentiometer. P38 fog light.
Pretty stoked!!

Still waiting on my adapters, what's with the 4.2 ecu and 3.9 potentiometer?

Well my '95 is a 3.9 and the potentiometer(TPS) is hard to find and ridiculously expensive new.
Potentiometer Round Plug (Genuine Part # ETC8495 ) - Land Rover carburetor from Atlantic British
The 4.2 ECU I grabbed just in case it might offer some performance improvement or if I want to drop a 4.6 in there later because it will for sure work with that.

cracked exhaust manifold....


Was really toast...


Sounded terrible. Replacement/used manifold from Paul and I am back in business.

Aluminum heads expand and contract, tearing the manifold apart.
