Default More PM work

Transmission fluid and screen change, replace thermostat with 180F vs stock 190F (summers can get hot in Vancouver, BC, like 77F), coolant change.
Replace air in tyres with some imported, France Alps Mountain air. Nothing but the best. 😉

Post service follow up. Had to replace the front brake calipers, rotors and pads. All wore or close to seizing.
Used Pentosin ATF1 transmission fluid for transmission service. Super expensive at $30(cnd)/ liter, 9.5 litres needed.
Tranny service screen change require removing frame cross member. 3 hours to to do proper tranny service.

Oil & filter change. Downstream, O2’s. Checked torque on rear wheel bearings (seemed to be as it should) and replaced rear pads. Hoping this solves my rear brake squeal.

Had NOKIAN ROTIIVA A/T $667.95 tires put on, have not been off road yet so will have to see how they do but great price and good reviews. Also installed 4 new Gabriel shocks, no more 90 degree roll around corners anymore.
Removed the rear seats, looking to build a platform to sleep on and use the underside for storage, I was going to build it out of wood but I think now I will use square 1" steel tubing and just a piece of plywood on top, I assume it might be lighter than wood.

Attempted to replace the vacuum lines as per Disco Mikes Maintenance list.
2 feet of 3/16th vacuum tube
2 feet of 5/16th vacuum tube

It appears the replacement silicon hose can only be used to go from:
1. The plenum to the regulator (small piece, less than 6inches)
2. Assuming the remaining hose is for replacing cruise control line because after that the vacuum lines are hard lines.

Default Tires

Scored an extra set of full D1 alloys rims. Installed 225/ 75 16 KM3.
Don’t you think that this post, “what did you do to your Disco today” should have started with every poster posting...”I spent more money today”?

Tired of seeing these in a box from another project so I installed these vacuum gauges on the Rover.

Default Found out shock mounts broken and wielded, and no sway bar, day

day three into this 97 disco project. Got lots of "Jerry rigging" to remove and missing parts. Anyone got good diagrams web site? Where is a good part source in US? No easy online thru dealers, no specialty place in Oregon. 78.00 shipping from England. Not as easy as my last project Suzuki samurai, so far.
