Yeah I hear the u joint is stronger. I've taken my D1 on some pretty good rough terrain and my Rotoflex coupler was old as hell.and I could see cracks in it and it was a little twisted.. As soon as I got back I ordered a new one from Lucky8 offroad... Cheap.. I dont know if I will ever convert over to u joint. If I did a whole lot of off roading then maybe..

Anyone know where to get fog lights that work without spending the $267.00 each from roverparts?

Dropped the headliner and sealed a leak at the top of the windshield. Also cleaned up the lock-out switch for the rear control of the rear sunroof. Now the switch above the rear seats functions as it should.

Ran it through a car wash to see if the windshield is now water tight and it thankfully passed the test.

Default Replaced Front Seat Diaphragm's

Replace both front Seat Diaphragm's on the 96 with ExMoor Seat Diaphragm's I ordered from the UK. I've been wanting to this since I bought it almost 2 years ago, the previous owner repaired them, but was very uncomfortable.

NICE Greg! I need to do that.

Other day I found in someone's attic a D1 5 speed centre console assembly WITH the yellow sticker still on it. Unobtanium

Excellent. I really need to do this for the driver-side front seat on my 97, as well as replacing the cushion and covers. It looks like Exmoor carries the diaphragms and bottom cushion, but only makes seat covers for the seat styles that include the grab handle-type head rest.

Any idea where one might source replacement/aftermarket covers for a NAS 97 Discovery? Mine are tan leather or whatever that material is.

Not for a aftermarket replacement cushion cover, but a Genuine Land Rover part is still available. Here is the part number HCA105330SUC for your 97 Disco, it's not cheap. If your cover is repairable I would just buy a repair kit and match the color or look for a set of SD seats and rebuild them.
