Nice find Spike! What do you usually put in the search engine on eBay when you're looking for miscellaneous parts? Or were you specifically looking for these?

I was specifically searching for either a Baldwin or Fleetguard oil filter.
I had already crossed referenced the oil filter number I normally use to Baldwin and Fleetguard on their web sites.
So I just searched for the part number.
As for miscellaneous parts I just search by part name.
They changed the part number for the filters I bought, I got them from a place up north that had bought out the inventory of a equipment rental place and these are for tractors like Kubota.
He was asking $4 each plus $7 shipping, I sent him a message and asked what he'd do if I bought all three (thats all he had) and he said $15 shipped so I bought them.
Now I'm set on oil filters for 18 months.
The number written on the box is not the part number, that was what they used for inventory.

No, my front is an MJ Lee so it just clamps on the front, ran a little safety wire through where the clamp bolt goes to the panhard bar in the event it got popped off on a rock.. Not a full sewer cap, but enough to protect the front diff.. I picked up the rear diff guard from john gadd, he had it sitting around the shop.

Rest of the toy kit is here.. Still waiting on the bearings for the rear diff. Got the solid non-crush sleeves for both diffs.

Got the RRC about 90% back together. Waiting for some heater lines and a radiator.. Going to reroute plug wires once I get the heater lines back in.

Thumbs down

Took a ride around town to see what damage hurricane Sandy caused. Found some puddles to play in. Turns out she's a little sensitive to water. Scratch that, absolutely does not like water. Sandy 1- Disco 0. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping everything dries up under the hood by tomorrow

I inserted a temperature probe into the city light bulb hole and left the headlights on for a while. Surprisingly it only rose about 6 degrees above ambient before leveling out. So with the reassuring data I ordered and installed my LED city lights. These are 5100k LEDs, model WLED-WHP5 from superbrightleds.com. They're brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs and I'm really pleased with the crisp white light that updates the look, all at 1/12th the current draw. They even look great when combined with the more yellowish halogen headlights. I didn't take a picture of it, but it creates an interesting mix between the LED and halogen color temperatures.

Stock 168 bulb on left, LED on right:
