thanks. I figured as much. never paid attention to d1 sways. I think the couple of times, that I have been under one I was focused on fixing a pretzled trailing arm and freeing up shifter linkage. just a thought.

It's a good thought actually. I'm probably going to fab some D2 inspired links and install them on my rear swaybar in an attempt to keep it at stock geometry and run it on my lifted 95.

yeah. you ought to see my ghetto links. per link = 2 pieces of 5/8" all thread +some of those 3" long extended nuts. used the long nuts so I could get everything exactly where I wanted it (with the ends dropped into nuts that I drilled out 1/2 , then welded it all up). super simple and it has to be stronger than that original tiny little rod alone.
of course, the ghetto engineering came from the ghetto fabricator

This is the stock sway bar link.
Sway Bar Ball Joint (NTC1888 Same Fit As Part # NTC1888 ) - Land Rover ball joints\rod ends from Atlantic British

I'll probably weld something up or buy something like this that is adjustable.
J2 Adjustable Pillow Ball Rear Sway Bar Arm End Link FRS GT86 BRZ WRX STI Silver | eBay

Something like this would probably be the best of both worlds but is expensive and I'm cheap as hell.

Oh those adjustable links are cool. I'm with you on the price of that bar. That's a lot.
