Default Uh oh ABS problem..

No amigos... but when tinkering around under the hood I noticed that the electrical plug that goes into the ABS modulator was not plugged in all the way. So I plugged it in. Still no lights, but now the ABS is sometimes activated under normal braking. So far it has done it twice, both times at low speed, braking, and steering into a turning lane...

Could this just be air in the line? Or dirty sensors?

Ok, this is at least the 2nd time you have done this, you do NOT have a DII therefore you will NOT get the 3 Amigos. (sorry, rant over)
Unplug the ABS modulator and forget about it, trust me, the only fix is a new ABS modulator, go ahead and Google that, you will unplug it once again.

Now to be 100% fair, in the tech section there is a write up on how to check the ABS trouble codes, which you have none.
Sometimes it is just a loose/bad ABS wheel sensor, hope one is just loose, those are expensive too.

Had I known this learning curve was going to veer right into my face, I might have been better off to stay on the bench...

thanks for the advice.

You'll never getr any hits from the bench.

You gotta mis a few before you hit one out of the park.
