I really liked the weather radio that was in the stock radio of my 99 Disco 1. I have read that some Disco 2 radios also have weather when the band button is pushed correctly. Does anyone know if a Disco 1 radio will hook up to the Disco harness? Any way to identify the D2 radios with the weather band capabilities?

 

A D1 radio won't work in a D2 but there are plenty D2 radios, out there that have the weather band, just make sure if you buy a used on that you get the radio code.

 

Hit the "AM" button twice for Weatherband, I think it's standard, there just isn't a button for it.

 

It only came with the top line radio if I remember right and was then discontinued maybe at the end of the 02 production run.
