Wood Trim
Anybody got an input on "CLOUDY" wood in these cars? I THINK that they are done like the Rolls, hardwood with a Veneer then LOTS of clear lacquer on that.
If I am correct then 2000 paper and water SHOULD cut the clouds away then respray.
This 50th is turning into a show restoration instead of a stump puller

Mr. George,
You might enjoy Amazon.com: Land Rover: A Tough Fifty Years (Osprey Automotive) (9781855326415): Chris Bennett, Nick Dimbleby: Books which is a coffee table book covering the first 50 years, factory production line photos, all over the world Rovers, etc. Shows why 50 was a big year for them....

Going to check with Constantines Wood Center - Woodworking Supplies and Tools - 1-800-443-9667
This is who my dad used back in the 1960's for anything wood. They will have the special stuff to do the job the correct way I HOPE!
Me I would just grad the 2000, water and have at it.
