I have a u joint on my D1 that is missing the grease fitting. I have a few generic ones laying around, and tried to use one with an 8mm nut(not sure of thread size) and it screwed in but was kind of loose. Plus the fitting was too stubby to get the grease gun nozzle on it.

Anybody know the size I need?

Take the old one into Menards or an auto parts store to compare.

 

Ok, I can't find the one, it just fell out! I will take another off and take it in, not a bad idea.
