01 D2 coolant issue

Yes ac on and also warmed up the air sensor with a warm rag, ecu somehow is not telling the fan to come on. now does the ecu look at both the amb air temp sensor behind the grill and the maf temp? for the ac .

I would guess that you could unplug the coolant sensor on top of the engine, and attach a 1000 ohm resistor to the connector. This would look like a high temperature, and should make ECU call for electric cooling fan.
